Tech Travel Startup Lucid Trails launched
Panaji: Tech Travel Startup Lucid Trails Entertainment Pvt Ltd was officially launched in the city on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Lucid Trails Founder Suraj Palekar said the startup aimed to provide multiple services under one roof, either free or at the lowest market rates.
“Our platform is dedicated to the global travel industry, but we have begun with Goa as a primary destination for our business model. Soon we will expand to other regions,” he said.
Post the lockdown when restrictions were easing, Lucid Trails made an independent effort towards the revival of the struggling tourism sector. It offered its services of video production at the lowest cost in the market & free marketing to hospitality businesses across the state. Lucid Trails received an overwhelming enquiry through the initiative and was a win-win proposition for the industry. The video campaign will continue for the next few months with the target of expanding to Pan India.
”Tourism Industry is one of the badly affected due to the advent of COVID-19 however Palekar hopes for a gradual recovery,” said Suraj and appealed for active support from the government and stakeholders in revitalizing the sector by getting investments and newer opportunities.
