Thailand launched Malaysia’s golf platform and mobile app Deemples after $2 M funding

After raising $2 million last year, Deemples, a Malaysian golf platform and mobile app, has formally launched in Thailand, known as the Golf Capital of Asia and a major destination for golf tourists.
With the greatest number of golfers and golf course partners in Southeast Asia, the company said in a statement on Monday that its expansion into Thailand intends to improve the golfing experience by creating a more accessible and connected community.
The company sees itself as part of an expanding ecosystem that seamlessly links golfers throughout ASEAN, with thousands of players and partner courses spread across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, and now Thailand.
“At its core, golf is about connections—both on and off the course,
“Deemples is revolutionizing how golfers meet and play by removing the barriers to organizing a game,” said David Wong, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Deemples.
He added that with just one app, the platform is making it simpler than ever to reserve a round, locate other players, and take advantage of seamless payments.
The statement claims that golf is flourishing throughout ASEAN, with Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia becoming popular destinations for both domestic and foreign players.
Every year, 700,000 golf tourists visit Thailand alone, attracted by its more than 250 championship courses and top-notch golf facilities.
In the meantime, golf tourism is expanding quickly in Malaysia and Indonesia, drawing players from China, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
According to Deemples, technology is significantly changing how golfers interact, compete, and enjoy the game as ASEAN’s golf scene develops, particularly among younger players.
It stated that golf is now more accessible than ever thanks to innovations like Deemples, which are dismantling long-standing obstacles like membership-only clubs and the challenge of finding playing partners.
It stated that as a result, the sport is becoming a game for all ages and attracting a new generation of players who infuse the fairways with new vitality and zeal.
The company is well-positioned to take advantage of this growing trend by connecting golfers throughout Southeast Asia, including the growing Thai market, according to Deemples, who acknowledged the momentum.
According to the report, the company makes the connections that propel golf tourism.
It stated that by connecting local golfers with foreign tourists and offering extensive booking and event capabilities, it fosters a vibrant environment that promotes golf participation from both domestic and foreign players.
