Titan Capital records winners fund’s final close at $40 M

The final close of Titan Capital Winners Fund, which is supported by Rohit Bansal and Kunal Bahl, co-founders of Snapdeal, was Rs 333 crores, or about $40 million.

By choosing to subscribe to the green shoe option, the Fund has chosen to accommodate additional commitments after reaching its initial target raise of Rs 200 crore in August 2024.

Later on, this capital will be invested in the company’s current portfolio companies, the company announced in a press release.

More than 250 businesses have been backed by Titan Capital since 2011. Among the noteworthy seed investments are Ola Cabs, Razorpay, OfBusiness, Urban Company, MamaEarth, and Unicommerce.

Titan Capital’s Winners Fund achieved its goal corpus of Rs 200 crore in August. Significant exits from businesses like Urban Company, MamaEarth, Ola, and Credgenics were made possible by this fund.

It is noteworthy that Titan Capital’s initial investment of Rs 57 lakh in Urban Company led to a full exit of Rs 111 crore. When Ola reached a peak valuation of $7.3 billion in 2021, the two completely left the company after their initial $60,000 investment grew significantly.

Indicorns, a new index that highlights successful startups with annual revenue of over Rs 100 crore, was recently introduced by Titan Capital. The Indicorns list includes various startups, including Groww, Infra.Market, Indifi, ConfirmTkt, CashE, Fibe, Everest Fleet, Fynd, Indiqube, Karza, Lendingkart, Oxyzo, and Nodwin.
