To expand throughout Africa, Senegalese e-health startup Eyone raised $1 M

Eyone, a Senegalese e-health startup, has raised $1 million in funding to strengthen its position as a leader in the industry and quicken its growth throughout Africa.

Eyone has created a platform for medical interoperability that gives patients and medical professionals access to real-time medical records. In order to guarantee the availability of trustworthy and secure medical data throughout a patient’s care pathway, the startup partnered with the Senegalese earlier this year to establish the Unique Shared Patient File.

With US $1 million in funding, including US $145,000 from BICIS and US $855,000 from the Sonatel Group through its investment fund VIF, it is now aiming for pan-African expansion.

With the money, Eyone will swiftly expand throughout Africa and solidify its position as the industry leader.

“Our objective is simple – to improve the quality of care while democratising access to healthcare for all. This financing marks a key step in our journey, enabling us to continue to innovate and meet the growing needs of our populations,” said Henri Ousmane Gueye, CEO of Eyone.

“We are proud to support EYONE in this strategic phase of its development. As a group committed to innovation, we firmly believe in their vision of making digital health a key lever for Africa’s development,” said Sékou Dramé, CEO of the SONATEL Group.
