To revitalize city’s entrepreneurial scene, Al Madinah Angels launched

An important milestone for the expansion of Al Madinah Al Munawarrah’s business was reached with the founding of the Al Madinah Angels. This program, which is a part of Al Madinah Ventures Initiatives, brings together investors who are willing to support businesses that have the potential to yield significant economic advancement and founders with audacious ideas.

VMS, Al Madinah Chamber, and Numu Angels collaborated to create the network, which provides more than just capital to support growth. In an ever-changing market, it makes room for strategic alliances, mentoring, and the assistance companies require to expand, compete, and take the lead.

The Al Madinah Chamber hosted the launch event, which brought together a dynamic group of entrepreneurs, investors, and company executives who were all committed to fostering innovation in Al Madinah. The focus was on bringing angel investing to the area and laying the groundwork for a community that actively promotes early-stage businesses and stimulates economic expansion.

Value Makers Studio (VMS) founder Mr. Motaz Abuonq encapsulated the launch’s importance for the local startup community:

“This is more than just a network—it’s a starting point for real change in Al Madinah. There’s incredible potential here, and this initiative is about creating space for that potential to grow. It’s about connecting ideas with the people who can help bring them to life.”

Eng. Fahad Almansour, founder of Numu Angels, reflected on the power of backing startups early in their journey:

“At Numu Angels, our vision is to build a thriving ecosystem where angel investors and startups grow together. This network is more than just funding; it’s about providing strategic guidance, access to valuable networks, and the mentorship that founders need to navigate the early, often challenging stages of their journey. By connecting entrepreneurs with experienced investors, we’re creating a platform where innovative ideas can transform into impactful businesses that contribute to the economic growth of Al Madinah and beyond.”

Dr. Ghassan Bin Reda Khalifa, Secretary General of Al Madinah Chamber, shared his excitement about how this initiative will impact local entrepreneurs:

“With the support of Al Madinah Chamber, this network marks a significant milestone for Al Madinah. It’s dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs by providing access to essential resources—whether it’s funding, mentorship, or meaningful connections that can help drive their business growth.”

When five exceptional startups from Al Madinah Al Munawarrah took the stage to present their ideas to possible investors, it was one of the most thrilling parts of the event. Each offered audacious, cutting-edge solutions meant to address actual problems and investigate uncharted market territory. The startups that presented were Rodud, Iqrarak, Bouk, Faseelh, Zaghareed Delights, and Halala Plus. Al Madinah’s startup scene was fueled by a depth of creativity and determination, as demonstrated by their ideas.

This program is expected to open up new business opportunities in Al Madinah Al Munawarrah and give entrepreneurs the assistance they require to create profitable ventures and boost the local economy.
