To support innovative Indian HealthTech startups, Anthill Ventures accepting applications for its Lumos Health program

The Lumos Health program, which is aimed at startups with disruptive solutions and health technologies, has a new cohort starting on Thursday, according to Anthill Ventures, an Indian venture capital firm and speed-scaling ecosystem.

In a statement, Anthill stated that the program places a strong emphasis on high-impact verticals like oncology, fertility, maternal health, genomics, cutting-edge diagnostic, digital health, and longevity.

The program will give startups access to Anthill’s international network of investors, mentors, and business experts, as well as a variety of resources aimed at assisting startups in expanding their businesses, the statement claims.

Additionally, the program has formed new alliances with the Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation (MSMF), Kauvery Hospitals, DERBI Foundation, and Makers Nest, giving startups access to a total of 51 hospitals across the nation via partners.

Startups will be given better opportunities, such as access to cutting-edge wet lab facilities, priceless clinical validation support, and thorough evaluation of their solutions that are ready for market.

Partner HealthCare Global (HCG), an Indian cancer treatment center, also supports the program.

Additionally, the program will assist startups with market access, funding advice, and regulatory procedures.

“Speedscalers” will be matched with each chosen startup. Startups will benefit from clinical validation and regulatory support provided by the clinical speedscalers.

Business speedscalers are said to aid startups in bolstering their GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy, business model, and market access.

Additionally, startups will have access to a larger network and receive infrastructure support worth up to $1 million.

“As a global venture capital ecosystem, we recognize the immense potential of innovative startups to drive meaningful change and solve real-world problems,

“With the launch of the new cohort for our Lumos Health program, we are committed to providing startups with the resources and expertise they need to succeed, and we look forward to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and disruptors,” said Prasad Vanga, Founder and Managing Partner of Anthill Ventures.

Paul Salins, managing director of MSMF, said that the program enables startups to grow more quickly.

“Lumos Health’s comprehensive support and strategic guidance have proven instrumental in scaling startups to new heights,” he said.

KroniKare raised their Series A round of funding during the previous cohort run by Lumos Health, and they collaborated with the Singaporean government to deploy a modified use case of their COVID monitoring solution.

Over 500 startups were evaluated by Lumos Health, and 11 of them were accepted into their scaling programs.

Startups with ground-breaking healthcare-related solutions, technology, and innovation are invited to participate in the program. They must also have a clearly defined growth strategy and an established product market fit.
