Touchstone Partners led $720K Seed funding raised by Vietnam’s Happynest
A $720,000 seed round led by Touchstone Partners has been invested in Happynest, a social-commerce housing platform and home and living community based in Vietnam.
Happynest said in a statement on Tuesday that this investment will help them develop their community and increase the range of products they offer.
Additionally, it will enable the business to increase the number of users it serves, develop its community, and create new, cutting-edge features that will strengthen ties within the interior design and housing industries.
“The Happynest model is built around its platform and loyal community. In our vision, the traffic, engagement and audience insights about online behavior will give us the
ability to develop commercial solutions directly to consumers,
“Because of the nature of the Happynest community, products can be seamlessly integrated into the platform without having to resort to aggressive sales tactics,” said Minh Cao, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Happynest.
Happynest is a one-stop shop where users can look through ideas for their homes, network with other homeowners to exchange tips and insights, locate and work with qualified architects, interior designers, and builders, and buy the best appliances, furnishings, and décor.
The platform strives to simplify and increase convenience of home maintenance.
In 2020, Happynest launched as a trailblazing platform for the house and living sector.
With 500,000–1,000,000 active monthly users and over 10,000 articles and 300,000 images of user-generated content centered around home ideas, the platform boasts the largest home and living community.
Early in 2024, the platform featured over 10,000 products from sellers, giving users access to the best deals.
Happynest has expanded its network through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, and Tiktok.
With over 480,000 members, the platform’s Facebook group community includes homeowners, home design enthusiasts, and home improvement professionals from all over Vietnam.
The community groups offered by The Happynest provide a forum for conversation about designing, building, and maintaining homes by bringing together professionals from the industry and prospective and existing homeowners.
