ToumAI raised $1 M Pre-seed funding to pioneer next-gen global CX

Pre-seed funding of EUR1 million (US$1 million) has been raised by Morocco’s ToumAI, an innovative AI technology company, to support its goal of providing customized, flexible, and sustainable customer experience (CX) solutions worldwide.

By tackling the issues of emotional complexity, generational preferences, cultural differences, and multilingualism, ToumAI is redefining customer experience. Its AI-first products, which fall under the HolistiCX suite, make use of a special Compound AI architecture that maximizes efficiency while requiring little processing power.

ToumAI improves IVR systems, enables advanced churn detection, and boosts voice-driven applications by fusing large open-source models with customized proprietary models.

In order to enhance global customer relations, its business model provides scalable APIs that can integrate data from various departments and provide actionable insights, guaranteeing that each touchpoint has a personal resonance.

In 2024, ToumAI’s clientele grew to include important markets like Morocco, Senegal, and Malta. It is also scheduled to debut in Tunisia shortly. A EUR1 million (US$1 million) seed round led by Launch Africa Ventures, with participation from Madica Ventures, Orange Ventures, Digital Africa, GO Ventures, and business angel Bruno Akpaka, as well as support from BPI France, will help with further expansion.
