Travel tech startup The Tarzan Way raised Rs 2 Cr from IPV

In a seed fundraising round headed by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), the AI-powered travel tech startup The Tarzan Way, based in Noida, has raised Rs 2 crore, or around $233K. Prateek Maheshwari, the founder of PhysicsWallah, Your Trips Limited (UK), and a number of angel investors also participated in the round.
Product development will receive 35% of the funds, followed by operations (25%), marketing (20%), HR/admin (15%), and other activities (5%).
The Tarzan Way, which was established in 2020 by Shikhar Chadha and Shivank Tripathi, employs artificial intelligence (AI) to produce highly customized travel experiences that let consumers construct unique itineraries in a matter of seconds.
With the upcoming release of its new “Exploration App,” the firm hopes to simplify trip planning by providing a booking engine powered by AI, one-click booking, and round-the-clock concierge assistance.
According to the platform, its gross booking value reached Rs 13.5 crore, and its revenue increased by 300% year over year and its user base grew by 70% month over month. Over 35,000 people follow the brand on social media, and its material has received over 10 million views.
India’s tourism industry is predicted to reach $512 billion by 2028, driven by a growing demand for customized travel.
