Truboard Partners raises Rs 20 Cr funding from Earth Fund

In a funding round headed by Earth Fund, a venture capital platform with an emphasis on sustainability and the environment, asset performance platform Truboard Partners has raised Rs 20 crore ($2.2 million).

In July 2022, the Mumbai-based business had previously raised $2.7 million.

According to a press release from Truboard Partners, the money will be utilized to expand the platform responsibly across asset classes and fortify its product foundation.

Truboard Partners, which was co-founded in 2020 by Srickant Rajagopal, Nandkumar Surti, and Vipul Thakore, provides lenders, equity investors, and asset owners managing real and financial assets with AI-driven asset performance management software that offers thorough portfolio intelligence. Through data-driven decision-making, the platform helps institutions optimize portfolio internal rate of return (IRR) by providing 360-degree visibility into investment performance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

The company claims that its platform, which has recently expanded into the US and EU, is used by operators and investors to manage intricate, multi-asset portfolios across India’s energy and real estate markets.

Working with developers, lenders, and institutional investors, Truboard Partners offers a shared operating layer for managing portfolios of energy and real estate assets across debt and equity arrangements.

By providing structure and transparency to post-investment asset monitoring in clean energy infrastructure and real estate, the company seeks to close gaps in India’s real asset ecosystem. The platform reduces lender visibility timelines from months to days, enhances risk management, and allows asset owners to produce 2-3% higher returns by transforming fragmented data into actionable insights.
