Tunisian legal-tech startup Juridoc raised undisclosed funding

To help it speed up the digitization of legal services in Africa and the Middle East, Tunisian legal-tech startup Juridoc has raised an undisclosed sum of money.
Juridoc was established in 2021 and offers a comprehensive database that includes legislation, case law, doctrine, and legal monitoring, making it easier to access legal resources.
Its generative AI-powered intelligent search engine helps organizations, businesses, and legal professionals to maximize their work by providing fast access to current and trustworthy information.
With more than 4,000 paying users, 325,000 successful legal searches, and more than 252,000 documents available, Juridoc is already well-established in Tunisia and Senegal. The startup, which has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from 216 Capital and Go Big Partners, hopes to build on this success by democratizing access to legal information in new markets.
“We believe our solution addresses a critical need for legal professionals, not just in Tunisia and Senegal but across West Africa and the Middle East. We aim to expand our expertise and deliver significant value to new users,” said Kais Assali, co-founder and CEO of Juridoc.
The funds will help Juridoc expand its database with legal content that is specific to new markets, improve its technological infrastructure to maximize the performance of its AI-based search engine, and support its marketing and commercial initiatives to hasten platform adoption.
“This investment aligns with our vision of supporting high-potential startups that transform strategic sectors through digital innovation. We are delighted to support Juridoc in its growth and contribute to modernizing access to legal information in high-demand markets,” said Dhekra Khelifi, partner at 216 Capital Ventures.
