Turkey-based Thread in Motion secures Funding, led by Sabancı Ventures
Turkey-based Thread in Motion, which provides wearable technology platform solutions to automotive, retail, logistics, e-commerce industries in order to increase operational efficiency, has recieved a new investment from Sabancı Holding Corporate Venture Capital Fund (Sabancı Ventures). TIM has become the first official investment of Sabancı Ventures.
Thread in Motion was established with a partnership of Kadir Demircioğlu and Rahim Öner, since then it set the goal of providing industrial smart devices to all industries in order to increase ergonomics, accelerate operations and provide traceability. In short term, the company has become a global technology supplier of major global brands.
The success of Thread in Motion is based on valuing customers’ and market’s needs and feedbacks, continuously keeping up investing in R&D activities, and being a leader in the journey of the Industry 4.0 revolution. A flexible keypad and an OLED screen have been implemented to the newest smart glove that TIM has launched in 2019, which has recently become the strongest competitor of handheld terminals. Parallel to the logistics industry target, TIM has started working with the distribution centres and warehouses with this newest smart glove.
With this successful investment round, Thread in Motion aims to intensify its operations in current local markets, increase brand awareness in global markets, and perform a rapid growth of its business.
