UAE’s G42 invested in newly-born AI startup Analog

The top technology group in the United Arab Emirates, G42, announced today that it has invested in Analog, a startup in edge computing. By focusing AI solutions on human needs, the project effectively closes the gap between potential and reality. This is a significant step forward.

Analog uses edge computing to its advantage to deliver smart technology closer to the point of need. It seeks to create a seamless connection between objects, people, and places by incorporating smart sensors. By facilitating the expansion and advancement of diverse sectors, Analog strives to optimize speed, minimize latency, and boost overall operational effectiveness.

Alex Kipman, the founder and CEO of Analog, remarked, “Analog is born out of the ambition to mix human needs with the sophisticated potential of AI. As we step into this new era of computing, Analog will be at the forefront of innovation, crafting technology that amplifies rather than replaces human skills.”

Analog’s path from concept to reality is characterized by human-focused innovation, design, and solutions that connect with people on a human level. The company embodies a philosophy of deep customer empathy. Analog is dedicated to collaborating closely with its partners, fusing enthusiasm and ingenuity with distinct consumer insights, as it emphasizes the importance of partnerships. By working together, Analog will provide tailored solutions to address difficult global problems in industries like business, government, healthcare, and the environment.

The first announcement of Analog’s launch took place at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, at the AI House Davos, a multi-stakeholder platform for responsible AI progress, of which G42 is the initiator partner.

This news is the most recent in a string of fresh moves from G42, which also recently declared the founding of Core42, a premier supplier of digital transformation services at the national level, and the upcoming launch of Space42, an AI-driven space technology leader best positioned to seize opportunities in the region and abroad in satellite communications, business intelligence, and geospatial and mobility solutions, subject to regulatory clearances.
