Asumsi, an Indonesian multi-platform media firm, has received a US $700,000 investment round from East Ventures, an existing investor.
Asumsi’s media operation will be expanded, and the technical team will be expanded to build a more engaging platform, as a result of the investment. By mid-2022, the business plans to establish a live-streaming platform.
Asumsi is a multi-platform digital media firm that focuses on Indonesian youth and covers current events, politics, and social concerns. According to the firm, it contacts over 10 million people every month via different social media channels.
It also stated that its income has increased tenfold (year over year) since its last fundraising round, which was also headed by East Ventures in September 2020.
