VMS Bridge Programme awards won by ten Egyptian startups
The VMS Bridge program, which supports startups in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, has announced the winners of its inaugural edition. Ten startups received prizes. The program’s objectives are to close the gap between the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, give entrepreneurs the knowledge and abilities they need to successfully enter new markets, and increase opportunities for growth and expansion on a local, regional, and global scale.
A four-day trip to Saudi Arabia, where they will meet with Saudi investors and look into investment opportunities, is one of the prizes awarded to the five winning companies. The purpose of this initiative is to provide these five companies with the opportunity to enter the Saudi market, grow, and draw in investments to support their expansion throughout the Arab and Middle Eastern regions.
The following five businesses are the winners:
Amanleek: An online marketplace that specializes in insurance services for people and businesses, Amanleek was founded by businessmen Mohamed Yahya and Mahab Ahmed.
Farhy: Started by businesswoman Nadine Farag, Farhy is an online marketplace that unites goods and services related to celebrations in one location.
Sprints: Founded by tech entrepreneur Basam Sharqawi, Sprints is an educational technology-focused digital platform that helps young people get employment in top technology companies both inside and outside of Egypt. It offers educational programs in technology for employment.
Career180: Founded by businessmen Mohamed Akmal and Shrouk Alaa, 180 Career is an online training and employment platform with more than 200 registered courses accessible to job searchers.
Jamaykaa: Created by businessman Mohamed Riad, Jamaykaa is an online marketplace that makes it simple for companies to showcase and market their goods while offering storage, packing, and delivery options.
In addition, two businesses from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport’s Rally Entrepreneurship Accelerator program were recognized with awards from VMS, which allowed their businesses to operate freely in Saudi Arabia. The names of these two businesses are
Notchnco: A digital platform that facilitates communication between customers and businesses via WhatsApp and other social media platforms, was founded by Basem Naseef and Nasser Mahrous.
Neqabty: An app designed to link unions with their members so they can access all services electronically, Neqabty was founded by businesswoman Dunia El Foly.
Furthermore, Arweqah awarded a prize to three businesses that prioritized community service and environmental preservation. The prize included free access to Arweqah’s training program. The following three winning businesses are:
AgriCash: Drs. Mohamed Hamdy and Diaa Youssef founded this online platform with the goal of funding small farmers and promoting organic farming that is clean, sustainable, and renewable.
ReNile: Hazem El Tawaby, Ibrahim El Ziyat, and Amir Sabry founded the company, which automates remote farm management and control through the use of the Internet of Things in agriculture.
ICareer: This platform, which was established by businessman Akram Marwan, specializes in education for employment and offers services related to human resources technology, training, and qualification.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Saudi Value Makers Studio (VMS) introduced the VMS Bridge program, which is an excellent initiative aimed at assisting entrepreneurs and startups in their growth and expansion on a regional and global scale.
