Voice AI startup Navana.ai raises Rs 7 Cr Pre-series A funding

Navana.ai, a voice AI startup, has raised Rs 7 crore ($800K) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Antler India. Notable angel investors Ronnie Screwvala, Sandeep Singhal, and Ajay Agarwal participated.

After an initial Rs 6.2 crore angel round led by Singhal (Nexus Ventures) and supported by Stanford Angel Fund, Rajan Mehra, and Saahil Goel, the round brings the company’s total funding to Rs 13.2 crore.

Strengthening R&D and expanding product deployment—particularly with a language AI stack designed specifically for India—will be the goals of the new funding.

Raoul and Jai Nanavati founded Navana.ai in 2018, and since then, it has developed a full-stack voice AI platform for Indian businesses. With applications in several Indian languages, its products include a speech recognition API, contact center intelligence API, and voice AI contact center.

In addition to supporting voice bots in more than 12 languages, the startup already claims to have worked with over 40 enterprise clients, including Bajaj Finserv. It serves a wide range of clientele, from users of rural dialects to urban English speakers.

Real-time voice analytics and automated contact center solutions are made possible by Navana.ai, which primarily serves the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) industry.
