With Cellulant partnership Nigerian digital banking startup Grey expanded to Kenya

Grey, a Nigerian digital banking firm, has announced the extension of its service to East Africa, beginning with Kenya, in collaboration with Cellulant, a fintech business.

Grey is an international money transfer service that allows its users to send and receive international payments without restrictions quickly. It was founded in 2021 by Idorenyin Obong and Femi Aghedo, who wanted to help Nigerians easily exchange local currency and access the foreign currencies in their accounts. It offers international money transfers, overseas bank accounts, and rapid currency conversion.

The Y Combinator-backed fintech firm has expanded its services into East Africa, starting with Kenya, in collaboration with Cellulant, the company’s payments processor.

Kenyans may get paid in their favourite foreign currency and withdraw immediately to M-Pesa or a local bank account using Grey.
