‘Women Startup Summit 3.0’ to be held by KSUM in Kochi from Dec 15
From Wednesday, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) will host a two-day “Women Startup Summit 3.0” to encourage women to start businesses by offering a single platform for executives from diverse industries.
Delegates attending the Women Startup Summit 3.0 will compete in two sections: the Innovation Challenge and the Investor Café.
The hybrid meets, dubbed ‘Rise to Equal — Post-Pandemic Era,’ will include notable women from the ecosystem, according to a press release issued here on Tuesday.
The summit contains seven panel discussions on topics such as entrepreneurship, economy, and technology, with 40 experts from the nation and beyond speaking.
An entrepreneur networking meet for women is one of the main attractions on the first day. This session allows delegates to participate physically.
According to the statement, KSUM will give tickets to anyone interested in attending Women Startup Summit 3.0 through its website.
The winners of the Innovation Challenge will get a grant of Rs 5 lakh, with applications coming from Indian firms with one or more women as major owners.
These are start-ups that have registered with DPIIT and have KSUM’s unique ID and have a viable product model.
In addition to the Rs 5-lakh prize, the winning entrepreneurs will be eligible for soft loans of up to Rs 15 lakh (at a 6% interest rate), as well as startup funding.
The Investor Café aims to encourage investment in existing startups by allowing entrepreneurs to interact directly with investors in order to strengthen their businesses.
Aside from exchanging experiences, the summit will provide an opportunity for attendees to express their ambitions and success stories. The summit, which is being held with the goal of raising awareness of business innovations, promotes inclusion in the ecosystem by providing women with chances for upskilling and worldwide cooperation.
