Women Techsters Fellowship Programme open for applications
The free, one-year Women Techsters Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. Its goal is to teach young girls and women in-demand technology skills so they can take advantage of opportunities in the tech industry.
Girls and women are trained in cybersecurity, devops, data science and engineering, product design, product management, mobile app development, and frontend and backend software development through the Women Techsters Fellowship Program.
Only the top 3% of applicants are accepted into the competitive Techsters program, which is split into two six-month stages. Technical and soft skills training makes up the first, while real-world work experience—such as internships, volunteer work, freelancing, and entrepreneurship—makes up the second.
Fellows gain practical experience by taking on real-world roles, develop critical soft skills that will prove invaluable for work relations and collaborative projects, learn the technical skills necessary to thrive and succeed in the tech industry, and improve their chances of landing a respectable job or starting a successful business.
Applications are open until January 31.
