Zoho’s Sridhar Vembu invests in drone startup Yali Aerospace
The CEO and co-founder of the SaaS company Zoho, Sridhar Vembu, has invested in the drone startup Yali Aerospace.
Yali’s drones, which were founded in 2022 by Dinesh, Anugraha, and Mathuravani, provide simple-to-use technology for both military and civilian applications. The company, situated in Thanjavur, specializes in offering drone solutions for medical, surveillance, and logistics applications worldwide.
Solutions for precision farming, infrastructure inspection, and disaster relief are a few of its uses. Its range is 50 kilometers with a 10.5-kilogram payload and 100 kilometers with a 9-kilogram payload.
On its website, the company claims that Yali can use the Yali Network Bridge to send medical supplies in less than 20 minutes to any location in India.
The media said earlier this month that Vembu is prepared to enter the chip industry with an approximate $700 million investment plan.
