$1.2 M Pre-Series A funding raised by Inker Robotics
AHK Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, led a pre-series A round of funding for Inker Robots that brought in $1.2 million.
According to a news statement from Inker Robotics, the financing will enable the business to generate more compelling educational content centered on robotics and future technologies. It will also help the firm strengthen its platform for delivering training.
Rahul Balachandran and Amith Raman launched Inker Robots in 2018 as part of the Kerala StartUp Program (KSUM).
The business states that it has a 4,500-square-foot robotics facility with 80 specialists. ALTON, which the business describes as the first modular training robot ever created to offer a comprehensive learning experience in robotics, was also created by its R&D engineers.
Also, it has established the Inker Robomaker as the first product from its delivery platform, Inkerlearn, which intends to build an ecosystem by integrating hardware and content to develop an active community.
Robomaker aims to foster a scientific mindset in young people and increase the immersion, practicality, and application of learning.
