$17 M Series A funding raised by edtech Toddle from Sequoia Capital, others

With the assistance of Tenacity Ventures and Trifecta Capital, Toddle, an edtech platform for educational institutions located in India, has raised US $17 million in a series A round-headed by Sequoia Capital India.

The round also included contributions from previous investors Martix Partners India, Beenext, and Better Capital.

“We continue to love [Toddle’s] relentless focus on building world-class products and consistent execution – resulting in strong ARR (annual recurring revenue) growth and close to zero churns in their business,” said Rajat Agarwal, managing director of Matrix Partners India.

Toddle was established in 2019 as an educational portal for International Baccalaureate institutions. Since then, the business has broadened its offerings to include K-12 schools and other foreign preschools.

According to Toddle, the platform is used by more than 40,000 instructors from 1,500 schools across 100 nations. The programme makes it possible for educational institutions to distribute learning materials throughout the world and aids in fostering better teamwork among teaching staff in their daily activities.

According to the business, the Covid-19 epidemic has sparked a significant increase in the market for educational software, which is anticipated to grow to a value of $30 billion by 2030 internationally.
