$200k Angel investment secured by NextMeet from Abhibus
NextMeet announced that it had received a $200k angel investment from Sudhakar Reddy Chirra, the founder and CEO of Abhibus. NextMeet was a member of CIE IIIT Hyderabad’s Avishkar Deeptech Accelerator’s 13th cohort.
According to a press release, NextMeet is India’s first metaverse for meetups platform. It is an immersive platform that offers real-time virtual conferencing and networking in an avatar-based 3D environment. NextMeet is the first avatar-based virtual conferencing platform built in India, and it was launched by WorkingBot Technologies Private Limited. It enables organisations, institutions, and event planners to meet in a dynamic environment while avoiding the related logistical expenditures and UI-induced tiredness.
Pushpak Kypuram, Prashant Chandra, and Dr Linda Nubani, the company’s founders, have a combined 20 years of 3D and media expertise. NextMeet is comprised of a group of seasoned 3D artists, software engineers, marketing, and financial professionals. Michigan State University, KPMG, and ICFAI Business School are among NextMeet’s early customers, according to the press release.
