212Founders led $1.42 M Seed funding raised by Morocco’s Crealo
The 212Founders program, which is run by CDG Invest, the CDG Group’s investment arm, has made a strategic investment in Crealo, a budding startup that specializes in the administration and payment of copyright royalties. This is a huge step for the startup ecosystem. This investment is a part of the first round of seed funding for Crealo, which also included participation from prominent organizations like Super Capital, Evolem, Kima Ventures, and a select group of business angels. A total of 14.1 million dirhams were raised in the funding round, with CDG Invest contributing a sizeable 4.9 million dirhams to the project.
For Crealo, this capital infusion is a turning point that will help it maintain its position as the industry leader in copyright management solutions. The funds have the potential to significantly accelerate Crealo’s growth trajectory by improving the quality of its product, fostering new partnerships, and expanding its workforce.
The 212Founders program has been at the forefront of Morocco’s economic sophistication advancement and entrepreneurship promotion. The program has successfully completed 18 financings in both the Seed and Series A stages since its launch in 2019, totaling an amazing 97 million dirhams.
