$9 M Series A funding secured by website development platform Plugo
A $9 million series A fundraising round headed by Altos Ventures included participation from BonAngels Venture Partners and Access Ventures and went to the Singapore-based website development platform Plugo.
Plugo, a company that was just recently founded, gives Indonesian vendors the ability to create their own online storefronts by combining payment, shipping, and marketing services. The platform is presently in closed beta and is scheduled for general release early in 2019.
It intends to use the new funds for employment and product development.
The company was started by KyungMin Bang, who also formed CodeBrick, a company with headquarters in South Korea that provided a service comparable to TokoTalk in Indonesia. Letting the service go was done on October 28.
