Super.money adopts splitStore installment platform to penetrate market

SplitStore, an in-app store that lets customers shop across brands and pay in interest-free installments, was introduced by the fintech platform super.money.
According to the Bengaluru-based business, the functionality allows qualified users to split payments without a credit card, processing charge, or interest by combining shopping with embedded credit. A broader deployment of the program is in progress; however, it is currently available to a limited number of consumers.
The business claims that splitStore offers access to over 60 lakh products in a variety of categories, including as smartphones, electronics, fashion, appliances, fitness, beauty, home, and furniture. Apple, Nothing, Nike, Adidas, Marshall, Mokobara, and Snitch are among the brands offered on the platform. Flipkart’s logistics network will handle delivery.
After completing KYC verification, users can use the installment plan, and credit is provided by regulated lending partners.
“The next opportunity after UPI is transforming how India shops by making affordability a seamless part of the checkout experience,” said Prakash Sikaria, founder and CEO of super.money.
Super.money now offers embedded credit and commerce in addition to UPI payments thanks to splitStore. Thru its app, the company already provides checkout financing, secured RuPay credit cards, UPI payments, and personal loans.
According to the firm, splitStore has been tested over the previous few weeks with a small user base in preparation for a broader deployment.
Super.money was the fifth-largest UPI app by transaction volume as of June, behind PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, and Navi, according to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
