SIRCLO secures East Ventures led funding of US $36 M

SIRCLO, an Indonesian e-commerce solutions provider that helps businesses sell online, said today that it has secured US$36 million in a fresh round of funding led by East Ventures (Growth Fund) and Saratoga.

Traveloka, a prominent online travel company, Sinar Mas Land, and several unknown investors were among those who took part.

SIRCLO intends to use the additional financing to grow its technological infrastructure and services in order to advance retail digitalization for a variety of enterprises across Indonesia.

“With this new funding, we plan on building our momentum as consumer spending in e-commerce has picked up during the pandemic and beyond. We continue to help brands sell online using the omnichannel approach. Their success stories in extracting more value in our ecosystem propels our rapid growth even further as we continue to make significant upgrades to our solution offerings to future-proof the success of our clients,” said SIRCLO founder and CEO Brian Marshal.

SIRCLO, a company that helps businesses sell online, was founded in 2013. Entrepreneur and enterprise solutions are the two primary segments of its solutions.

SIRCLO Store, an online store dashboard for SMEs to sell across websites, marketplaces, and chat commerce, is available in the first category. IbuSibuk, a system that empowers communities of moms as key opinion leaders, micro-influencers, and resellers, is also available.

It provides e-commerce enablement services, an omnichannel technology development solution, and a B2B2C platform for mom and baby items in the enterprise sector. It also has Orami, a parenting platform that it bought in April.

Orami is the founder of IbuSibuk, a digital economic empowerment initiative for mothers who are particularly interested in business.

SIRCLO announced a US$6 million Series B funding round in August of last year, with East Ventures, OCBC NISP Ventura, Skystar Capital, and Sinar Mas Land among the backers.

SIRCLO claims to have served over 100,000 brands today. ATS The Label, Evete Naturals, Namaste Organic, This Is April, and Heytimmy Kidswear are among the local brands on the list. Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, KAO, L’Oréal, and Levi’s are among its multinational clients.
