Alpha JWC, Picus Capital led $2.4 M Pre-seed funding raised by Omni HR
Omni HR, a Singapore-based provider of software as a service, has secured $2.4 million in a pre-seed fundraising round that Alpha JWC Ventures and Picus Capital jointly managed.
Omni HR was established last year. Its main product is an employee management system that aids businesses in carrying out HR procedures, including employee onboarding, leaves of absence, and document management.
The platform, which the business soft-launched in March of this year, has already attracted clients such as financial companies Ajaib and Reap. It intends to concentrate on gaining users in Singapore and Indonesia for the time being.
YC Chan, a data engineer, and Brian Ip, a former executive at Goldman Sachs, founded Omni HR. According to the pair’s statement, local businesses like their organization have the edge over international competitors since they are familiar with the many employment laws in their native nation.
To deploy a recruiting module by the third quarter and a performance management module by the fourth, the company intends to use the new money for product development.
