Women nourishment brand Nutrizoe raised Rs 3 Cr Bridge funding from IPV
A bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures raised Rs 3 crore for the women’s nutrition company Nutrizoe.
Following the conclusion of clinical trials, the funds will be used to expand and improve its Lactobite portfolio, the company stated in a release. The emphasis will be on expanding the product line to accommodate a wider range of needs and tastes.
The startup also plans to export its goods abroad, including to the UAE, to broaden its market beyond India. According to the company, money will also be set aside for research and development to produce new product formulations.
Nutrizoe, which was founded by Richa Pendake and Saanket K, excels in the areas of pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation while introducing fresh and unique categories. It sets itself apart by possessing patents and other forms of intellectual property, which allow for the development of unique and innovative formulations.
The company claims that its flagship product, “Now clinically tested Lactobites,” has impacted more than 2 lakh families.
New-age entrepreneurs are supported by the angel investing platform Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), which connects them with a variety of investors and offers them financial and experiential capital. To invest in pre-Series A to Series B growth-stage startups, IPV announced the opening of a $50 million CAT 2 AIF Physis Capital in March 2022.
