AI security startup P0 raised $6.5 M Seed round from Lightspeed Venture Partners
Lightspeed Venture Partners, an investor based in Silicon Valley, contributed $6.5 million to the seed round of the AI-based security startup P0.
P0, which was founded by Kunal Agarwal and Prakash Sanker, functions as a developer’s assistant by using large language models (LLMs) to identify security and safety issues in software.
According to the startup, it thoroughly examines the entire code to look for any possible issues or weaknesses. Using unique inputs that it generates in accordance with the code’s context, it further tests the code.
AI startups have been able to secure respectable funding recently. After receiving $50 million in funding led by Matrix Partners India, Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder of Ola, launched his third startup, Krutrim, which became the first AI unicorn in India. Sarvam AI, a Gen AI startup, raised $41 million in Series A funding last month, with Lightspeed Venture Partners leading the round.
