Bahrain’s Tajweed, Travilege receive investment from Tenmou

Tenmou, the first Business Angels Company in Bahrain, has strategically invested in two innovative businesses: Travilege, an online B2B2C ERP software for travel agencies, and Tajweed, a digital platform for teaching Arabic and the Holy Quran.

Tenmou’s CEO, Nawaf Al-Kooheji, emphasized the company’s continued dedication to growing its investment portfolio, which currently consists of more than 35 Bahraini startups. Tenmou’s goal is to promote technology venture capital in Bahrain and highlight the capabilities of regional startups within the kingdom’s startup scene. The business has made profitable investments in projects that have grown significantly, entering regional and international markets in addition to Bahrain.

According to Al-Kooheji, the choice to invest in Tajweed and Travilege was motivated by their anticipated rapid growth. He said that by assisting these startups in obtaining more capital from regional and local investors, Tenmou’s investment would boost entrepreneurship in Bahrain and provide job opportunities.

In addition, Tenmou’s investment strategy seeks to advance the culture of angel investing in technology startups with the potential for quick growth and driven founders who can carry out business plans and improve financial results.

In his reflections on Tenmou’s achievements, Al-Kooheji revealed that the business has routinely outperformed industry standards, averaging returns on investment of more than three times in just four years. Tenmou’s track record demonstrates its strategic expertise in identifying high-potential startups and its capacity to precisely evaluate the market value of innovative projects, thereby reinforcing its position as an essential funding partner for entrepreneurs in Bahrain.
