Property title search engine platform Landeed raised $5 M Series X funding

$5 million has been raised by the property title search engine platform Landeed in its Series X round, which is being led by 10x Founders Fund. Additionally involved are Jeffrey Epstein, the founder of Onboard, Aaron King, the founder of Snapdocs, Oliver Jung, Paradigm Shift, Pioneer Fund, and others.

Last June, Paradigm Shift VC led a strategic financing round in which Landeed raised an undisclosed sum. In a seed round led by Bayhouse Capital, Draper Associates, and Y Combinator, Landeed raised $8.3 million in January 2023.

The company’s capabilities in AI and machine learning (AI/ML) will be enhanced with the new revenue.

Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin, and Jonathan Richards founded Landeed in 2022. For a small fee, users can search property titles and obtain land documents. The platform streamlines the various search options and gathers all the information needed by a buyer or landowner to make sure a specific property is in order.

Additionally, the platform provides immediate access to crucial information like encumbrance certificates and sale deeds, which attest to a property’s lack of financial or legal issues. For a small fee, the platform promises to produce results ten times quicker than conventional techniques.

With more than 100,000 property owners, bankers, agents, and real estate developers using its platform to buy, sell, facilitate loans, and develop real estate, Landeed claims to have seen a 22x growth in key financial metrics. The platform has over 5 million downloads and covers 24 states.
