HealthFab raises Rs 20 Cr Series A funding from Atomic Capital

In a Series A funding round headed by Atomic Capital, menstrual hygiene startup HealthFab has raised Rs 20 crore ($2.1 million).

The money raised will be used to boost manufacturing capacity, broaden the range of period care products it offers, and scale distribution throughout quick commerce and general trade.

Kiriti Acharjee, Sourav Chakrabarty, and Satyajit Chakraborty founded HealthFab in 2019 with an emphasis on reusable period products and more comprehensive menstrual wellness solutions. It is well-known for its GoPadFree line of reusable period underwear.

The startup is one of the leading brands in the reusable period underwear category on Amazon India and claims to have grown three times year over year. Over 5 lakh users are currently served, and over the next three years, it hopes to reach 5 million users.

In order to reach new customers, including those who are first-time adopters of alternative period care products, HealthFab is branching out from direct-to-consumer (D2C) into offline and quick commerce channels.

As it expands its product line to include energy, sleep, and pain management, the brand intends to increase digital engagement and retention.
