Chiratae committed $10 M to support five startups in Sonic DeepTech batch

Venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures has announced its Sonic DeepTech batch following its Demo Day hosted yesterday in Bengaluru. The program drew thousands of applications, showcasing the depth and breadth of frontier innovation emerging across the country.

From the competitive pool of applicants, Chiratae selected a focused cohort of high-conviction startups and committed up to $10 million in investments across CtrlB, Interact AI, SuprSend, TakeMe2Space, and a stealth startup.

The selected startups will benefit from resources offered through the NVIDIA Inception program, designed to help startups accelerate technical innovation and business growth at all stages. Through the program, they will gain access to advanced AI developer tools and training, preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware and software, exclusive partner offers, and exposure to a global network of investors and ecosystem players.

They will receive exclusive partner offers, preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware and software, access to cutting-edge AI developer tools and training, and exposure to a global network of investors and ecosystem participants.

TakeMe2Space, one of the chosen businesses, is creating nanosatellite infrastructure for Earth observation and edge AI computing with a plan for networked on-orbit data systems. CtrlB is developing a serverless data lake platform with a diskless, cloud-native architecture to lower observability data storage and analytics expenses.

Interact AI provides AI avatars that use audio-visual, product-aware conversational agents trained on sales and marketing content in place of static chatbots. Using a single API, SuprSend’s multi-channel notification infrastructure facilitates communication coordination. A stealth vertical AI platform is the ultimate investment.

Energy and climate, robotics and advanced manufacturing, space technologies, applied AI/ML, bio and med-tech, and the digital economy are all covered by the Sonic DeepTech program, which offers up to $2 million in seed funding.

AgroStar, Cult.fit, Fibe, FirstCry, Flipkart, Lenskart, Myntra, Pixis, PolicyBazaar, and Vayana are just a few of the businesses Chiratae has supported.
