Moadna, a Syrian healthtech startup specialising in clinic management and digital appointment booking, has secured $50,000 in early-stage funding from angel investors, raising the company’s valuation to $300,000.
Founded by Tarek Skheta, Maged Hamdeh, and a third co-founder, Moadna provides an integrated platform that enables clinics and medical centres to manage appointments, patient records, medical visits, billing, revenues, and expenses, while also offering digital booking and patient communication services.
The company has achieved rapid growth in the Syrian market and currently serves more than 550 doctors, clinics, and medical centres, alongside a user base exceeding 8,000 individuals. More than 3,500 appointments have been booked through the platform to date.
Moadna plans to use the fresh funding to further develop its product, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and expand its commercial operations as it prepares for its next phase of growth in Syria and future regional expansion.
The funding represents an early-stage round ahead of the company’s planned pre-seed financing round. Moadna was previously among the startups participating in Thimar, a support programme dedicated to Syrian startups.
