African health-tech innovators launched The Social Innovation Incubator program
The Social Innovation Incubator program, which aims to provide innovators with access to training, mentorship, and potential funding to empower them in developing tech-driven solutions, has been launched by the African healthcare innovation incubator Pishon Health.
With access to mentorship, funding, and advisory services valued at up to $100,000, the 12-week Pishon Health program seeks to support healthcare innovators as they develop, improve, and expand their ground-breaking solutions.
By acting as a catalyst, fostering, and advancing the next wave of African innovators who are reshaping the healthcare industry, the new incubator hopes to assist startups in navigating the challenges of creating and growing locally relevant solutions.
“Africa faces significant healthcare challenges,” said Mopelola Lauretta Ajegbile, founder at Pishon Health. “However, the continent is also brimming with talented innovators developing solutions specifically tailored to address these issues. Our incubator programme is designed to bridge the gap, nurturing these innovations and empowering them to reach their full potential.”
