African insurtech startups invited to apply for ZEP-RE programme
Through the ZEP-RE InsurTech Programme 2.0, African insurtech startups can qualify for funding of up to US $1 million.
Created by the reinsurance company ZEP-RE in collaboration with Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali, the ZEP-RE InsurTech Programme, now in its second edition, will see 25 startups participate in a three-month hybrid acceleration program that ends with an all-expense-paid trip to Kigali, Rwanda for a rigorous investment readiness bootcamp.
The program will culminate in a pitch competition involving the top 10 startups. The winning startups will have the opportunity to receive investment from the ZEP-RE Insurtech Fund, with potential funding amounts ranging from US $100,000 to US $1 million per company.
