Biteship secured undisclosed seed funding from East Ventures, Beenext
Biteship, an Indonesian logistics company, has acquired an unknown amount of seed capital from East Ventures and Beenext in a round co-led by them.
Biteship, founded in 2019 by Mirsa Sadikin and Afra Sausan, assists SMEs and major corporations in delivering items to their clients. It develops an API that allows users to connect with third-party logistics (3PL) and warehousing providers.
Thousands of companies have benefited from the company’s assistance, and it has worked with more than 30 third-party logistics providers around the country, according to the company. In the first quarter of 2022, revenue increased by 8 times year over year.
Biteship intends to capitalize on the country’s freight and logistics business, which is expected to reach $81.3 billion by 2020, with an annual growth rate of 9.2%. It intends to use the additional funds for product development and employment.
