Bosan and TruNativ receive investment from Zerodha’s Rainmatter
Rainmatter, an early-stage venture capital firm supported by Zerodha, has invested Rs 10 crore each in an equity round to support the water recycling startup Boson Whitewater and the nutrition-focused brand TruNativ.
Boson Whitewater was founded in 2011 by Vikas Brahmavar and Gowthaman Desingh. The company’s goals are to become the third source of water after municipal water and produces water softeners, industrial water treatment systems, and most recently, the Water Recovery Boson Whitewater system.
The startup is assisting IT parks, shopping centers, businesses, and apartment buildings in recovering drinkable water from their STP treated wastewater.
TruNativ, a Mumbai-based company founded in 2019 by Pranav and Mamta Malhotra, provides clear, nutrient-dense, and healthful food options for those who value both the environment and their well-being. It offers its goods for sale on its website as well as a number of other e-commerce platforms.
In April 2021, TruNativ raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round, while Bengaluru-based Bosan Whitewater raised Rs 3.45 crore in February 2022 in a funding round led by IAN (Indian Angel Network) and others.
