Cape Town to hold 11th Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit in November
The 11th Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit (AESIS) will be co-hosted by VC4A and the African Business Angel Network (ABAN) during Africa Investor Week in Cape Town on November 28–29.
The Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit is the leading event in Africa for early-stage investors looking to connect and form long-lasting bonds with the wider investment community.
This year’s theme, “Pioneering Pathways: Innovating Investment Mobilization in Africa,” connects the summit’s goals of enabling investors to make wise choices, back promising projects, and promote development throughout the African continent.
Along with a diverse program that includes master classes, panel discussions, keynote addresses, and networking opportunities, it will also feature a carefully chosen group of high-potential African startups, giving investors first-choice, exclusive access to fresh deal flow.
“As the leading gathering for early-stage investors in Africa, AESIS is a pivotal platform where key players shaping the continent’s investment landscape come together to connect, collaborate, and create lasting impact. AESIS is more than just a discussion forum – it’s a catalyst for action,” said Vincent Hoogduijn, CEO at VC4A.
“Looking at 2024 and beyond, it is essential to continue mobilising capital, fostering innovation, and driving impactful investment to support the growth of Africa’s most promising startups. By building a dynamic community of investors and entrepreneurs together, we can accelerate the growth trajectory of Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and unlock its full potential.”
