Care giving platform Kiddocare secured strategic investments in Pre-series A round
Kiddocare, a Malaysian platform for on-demand caregiving, has announced the successful completion of its Pre-Series A round.
The round included strategic investments from well-known investors, led by Artem Ventures, with participation from Gobi Partners, MSW Ventures Asia Fund X, and ScaleUp Malaysia, Kiddocare said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Gobi Partners’ involvement through the Gobi Dana Impak Fund (GDIV), which is supported by Khazanah Nasional Bhd, highlights Kiddocare’s crucial contribution to making an impact on the Malaysian economy and its bright future.
Additionally, it stated that Kiddocare is strategically positioned by this investment for rapid growth and innovation.
According to the statement, the business will use these assets to broaden its platform, attract more users, and open up new opportunities for women—not just in the caregiving field, but in a variety of other fields as well.
“Central to our mission is the professionalization of caregivers. In an industry that often lacks recognition, we are committed to setting new standards,” said Kiddocare Founder and Chief Executive Officer Nadira Yusoff.
“Through innovative technology, necessary training and certification, career paths, and social safety nets, Kiddocare ensures that caregivers are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and support necessary to provide top-tier care,
“This investment reinforces our resolve to elevate caregiving as a respected and professionalized career of choice,” he added.
Kiddocare, a locally developed platform for childcare services, was established in 2019 and matches parents with vetted childcare providers based on their preferences for time and location.
The company was founded as a project to develop an ecosystem to support working parents by providing them with the gift of freedom and time by connecting them with nannies to look after their kids.
Kiddocare also seeks to empower women by giving them a platform to pursue childcare as a career or as a source of additional income.
