Wavemaker Partners backed $1.5 M Seed funding raised by Cube Asia

A seed fundraising round headed by Wavemaker Partners has brought in US $1.5 million for Cube Asia, a Singapore-based provider of online retail information.

The startup, which was established by Sarabjit Singh and Simon Torring last year, aims to offer detailed insights for consumer brands, retail businesses, and investors to help them make more data-driven choices regarding things like e-commerce pricing and discounts, product assortment, and influencer engagement.

To facilitate more fast and lucrative online growth in Southeast Asia’s $170 billion e-commerce sector is the objective.

To further improve the quality of the company’s data, the new financing will be utilised to build up the technical, product, and data teams.

Southeast Asia’s six markets provide MeterCube, the initial product from Cube Asia. The platform gives merchants and brands selling on the TikTok Shop access to information including current rankings of well-liked TikTok accounts, best-selling items across several categories, price and discount patterns, and category-specific market size.

This year, Cube Asia intends to increase its presence on more platforms including Shopee, Lazada, and Instagram.
