CcHub’s Createch Accelerator selected 15 startups

The 15 businesses chosen to participate in the first Createch Accelerator programme have been revealed by the Creative Economy Practice at Nigeria’s Co-Creation Hub (CcHub).

CcHub and Ojoma Ochai collaborated to form the Creative Economy Practice, an ecosystem support organization for the African creative economy.

The approach intends to encourage greater innovation and technology used in the African creative economy, hence catalyzing further growth and capturing maximum value for African creatives and other sector actors. The Createch Accelerator’s goal is to provide expertise, networks, and support to entrepreneurs operating at the interface of technology and creativity, allowing them to accelerate their journey to profitability, scale, and institutional investment.

FanBase Africa, STARS App, Adirelounge, Tell!, Teraki, Idozi Collective, Fashtracker, Stylebitt, Nollydata, Usanii Space, Mawu Africa, Orange VFX, Vezuh, PayBox, and Twiva are among the 15 firms chosen.

The selected startups will have access to networks and assistance over the following four months, accelerating their journey to profitability, scalability, and institutional finance. This includes access to a network of creative economy thought leaders, talent, distribution, and funding advice, product advisory and technical help, and Google, Amazon Web Services, HubSpot, and other partner credits.

They will also get the option to pitch CcHub Syndicate for equity capital of up to US $250,000.
