CcHub’s Seedr programme selected 3 Namibian startups

CcHub, a Lagos-based hub, accelerator, and investor that has recently expanded throughout Africa, has chosen three Namibian businesses to participate in the Seedr accelerator it is doing with local partner Startup Namibia.

CcHub has been rapidly expanding over the previous few years (see here), and now claims to be Africa’s “biggest innovation cluster.” The Seedr programme, a six-month acceleration programme for early-stage digital firms in developing ecosystems with the ability to expand and make an impact, is the most recent version.

CcHub’s Seedr programme seeks to engage with impact-driven founders to help them turn their ideas into viable businesses and raise funds through its syndicate platform. Three businesses were chosen after a comprehensive screening process in partnership with Startup Namibia.

Nam Grocery is a B2C e-commerce startup that focuses on grocery sales and delivery; Kanie Supply and Distribution Chain is an AI-powered technology company that specialises in data monitoring, collection, and processing using drones for agriculture, nature conservation, and construction; and PEBL designs and assembles a wide range of products, including energy-saving computers, gaming laptops, and a small form factor PC.

The Seedr programme will assist the teams in expanding their operations to new cities in Namibia and across the Southern African area, as well as increasing their client base and income, over the following few months. The businesses will also pitch to investors through the CcHub syndicate and get funding to help them finish their fundraising deals.
