Climatetech startup HyveGeo raised Pre-seed funding from SystemaNova

In order to green the desert and remove carbon through the use of microalgae, HyveGeo announced the pre-Seed round as a verified sustainable investment project by the UAE government and Majra UAE CSR fund, which is headed by SystemaNova.vc.

SystemaNova.vc, an early-stage venture capital fund that places a strong focus on climate technology, has successfully closed a pre-seed funding round. HyveGeo’s pilot program is about to begin in the United Arab Emirates thanks to this capital infusion.

Climate change and food security are closely related topics that affect one another. One of the main factors contributing to desertification is climate change. The Sahara alone has grown by 10% since 1920. Since 1990, desertification in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has increased by 1% annually, according to the UN Environment Programme.

The Declaration on Resilient Food Systems, adopted at COP28 this year, represents a historic moment in the recognition of the connection between food and climate change.

Climate Action and Sustainable Agriculture. To transform food systems, regenerative agriculture must be implemented on 160 million hectares.

HyveGeo is the newest addition to a growing group of startups that are tackling the problem of mitigating climate change.
