Cookware brand Ember raises $3.2 M Seed funding

Co-founders of Yogabar Suhasini Sampath and Apurva Salarpuria have contributed significantly to the $3.2 million in seed funding that cookware brand Ember has raised from HNIs, family offices, and current investors.

The money raised will go toward strengthening proprietary cookware technology, increasing production, expanding R&D, and expanding market presence.

Entrepreneur and chef Saransh Goila has become a partner and investor in Ember. Saransh will head Ember’s first-of-its-kind Innovation Lab, which will concentrate on creating solutions specifically suited to the particular difficulties faced by Indian kitchens. He is well-known for his Goila Butter Chicken brand and his appearances on MasterChef Australia.

Siddharth Gadodia and Himanshi Tandon founded Ember in 2024. The company sells high-end, hygienic cookware that is designed to withstand the demands of Indian cooking and is made with its exclusive Arcilla ceramic coating and Thermoclad technology.

Ember’s cookware, which is made in Italy and designed in California in partnership with the product design firm Box Clever, combines durability for Indian homes with international quality standards.

The brand is expected to generate an ARR of Rs 30 crore within a year of launch. Indian companies Meyer, Bergner, and Stahl, as well as international names like Tefal and GreenPan, are competitors of Ember.
