Crowd Credit, Helicap to invest $50 M in Southeast Asia for Japanese investors
The fintech company Helicap Pte Ltd (Helicap) in Singapore and the Japanese financial services company Crowd Credit Inc. have partnered to invest $50 million for Japanese investors in Southeast Asia.
According to a statement released by Helicap on Tuesday, the two have announced a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together on increasing investment opportunities in Southeast Asia.
The joint venture between Crowd Credit and Helicap aims to increase Japanese investors’ access to growth and financial inclusion opportunities in Southeast Asian companies.
With a goal of raising $50 million in transactions, Crowd Credit will introduce Helicap to possible investors in Japan.
In exchange, Helicap will provide Japanese investors with access to investment opportunities and prospects in Southeast Asia through its regulated subsidiaries.
As per the MOU, Helicap and its regulated subsidiaries will utilize their proficiency in Southeast Asia to help introduce potential borrowers in the region to Crowd Credit by means of their deal platform.
In addition, they will give Crowd Credit access to its exclusive credit analytics platform and help it establish connections with nearby financial institutions and authorities.
In the interim, Crowd Credit will introduce possible Japanese investors to Helicap by utilizing its network in Japan.
In order to invest in Helicap’s offerings, Crowd Credit will also seek money from its investors.
It will also help Helicap cultivate ties with regulatory agencies and financial institutions in Japan.
This is Helicap’s first partnership in Japan, and the statement says that it will help Helicap expand its investor base while giving Japanese investors more access to private investment opportunities in Southeast Asia.

As per his statement, the collaboration will enable the company to broaden its pool of investors and give Japanese investors entry to a rapidly expanding market that offers consistent returns.
