Digital Agro platform launched by ESDS
ESDS Software Solution Limited, India’s premier Managed Cloud Service and end-to-end multi-Cloud needs supplier, today announced the launch of their digital platform ‘Famrut’ at its Nashik Data Centre.
Mr. Shivaji Amale (Deputy Commissioner, Nashik Municipal Corporation), Mr. Dhiraj Chaudhari (CEO, Dhule Nandurbar District Co-operative Bank), Mr. Ajay Bramhecha (VP, Sahakar Bharati, Maharashtra State; Director, Nashik Urban Bank Association; President, Lasalgaon Merchant Cooperative Bank Ltd; Director, Maharashtra State Bancorporation) were in attendance at the event.
Famrut’s main goal is to link farmers with essential players in the agricultural ecosystem in order to help them extract the most output and hence money from their property. Famrut is a corporation that attempts to provide farming solutions to farmers all around the country.
A majority of farmers encounter a number of challenges, including a lack of resources, a lack of direct access to markets, unpredictable weather conditions that impact crop productivity, and long hours of manual labour. Farmers will be able to interact with their preferred agronomists, have access to banking and insurance products, markets, crop and animal management, logistics, and solutions through ESDS’ Famrut.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Piyush Somani, Managing Director and Chairman, ESDS, said, “I am very proud of the entire team at ESDS for developing Famrut. This app has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the farmers and how we can help solve them.” Piyush further said, “Famrut is a solution for our farmers. Famrut is aimed at being a helpful tool for our farmers. Our aim is to simplify the farmers’ jobs in their field using technology and attempt to increase their income through the ecosystem. Famrut is developed to meet their needs. With research on the ground, inputs from various specialists in the agriculture sector, and a mix of digital technology, Famrut has been created.”
