Dodo Payments raised $1.1 M Pre-seed funding from multiple investors

In its pre-seed round, which was led by Antler, 9Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts, the fintech startup Dodo Payments raised $1.1 million.
Among those who have taken part are Nitin Gupta from Uni Cards and PayU, Maninder Gulati from Oyo CSO/Lightspeed, Raymond Russell from Boom Supersonic, Preethi Kasireddy from a16z, and Nishant Verman from Flipkart CorpDev.
The money raised will go toward a number of strategic projects, such as improving the technology infrastructure by adding modules for risk management, billing, fraud detection, and subscriptions.
Furthermore, with an emphasis on areas like the European Union, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Brazil, and Australia, Dodo Payments intends to set up local payment rails in more than 30 countries.
With success rates above 90%, Dodo Payments, which was founded in 2023 by Rishabh Goel and Ayush Agarwal, streamlines complexity and makes it simple for businesses to accept payments from more than 150 countries.
The platform is accessible in 14 languages, reaching 86% of the world’s population, and supports more than 25 local payment methods, such as Apple Pay, Klarna, Affirm, Cash App, UPI, and all major card networks.
By the end of the year, Dodo Payments hopes to have onboarded over 10,000 merchants worldwide, having done so in its first phase with over 1,000 merchants in 30 countries.
