Dozee, a health-tech startup raises funding from existing Investors
Dozee, a company that offers contactless remote patient monitoring solutions, announced on Thursday that it has secured Rs 44 crore ($6 million) in its Series A investment round.
According to Dozee, the financing was led by current investor Prime Venture Partners.
Other investors already on board, this financing round also included YourNest and 3one4 Capital, according to the statement.
The additional funds will be used by Dozee, Turtle Shell Technologies Pvt Ltd, to develop new products and improve its platform. A portion of the money will be used to expand its presence in HDU ward monitoring, home monitoring, and to provide a cloud-enabled continuum of care.
Mudit Dandwate and Gaurav Parchani established Dozee in 2015. The company intends to collaborate with ove.
Its remote patient monitoring technology is being used by over 216 institutions. It says that its platform has tracked over 32,000 patients and assisted in the early detection of health concerns.
Dozee had previously received Rs 12.5 crore ($1.7 million) in September of last year from Prime Venture Partners, YourNest, and 3one4 Capital.
